CVE-2025-41458

Sensitive data disclosure via unencrypted SQLite storage

Published Jul 21, 2025 · Updated Jul 21, 2025

Cleartext storage in Two App Studio Journey 5.5.9 and earlier for iOS allows local users to read sensitive data from its files. The app writes diary entries, authentication tokens, and cryptographic material without encryption to its main SQLite database and write-ahead log, which can retain deleted content. Exploitation requires direct filesystem access on a jailbroken device and exposes private journal content and key material without enabling data modification or service interruption.
