Insecure default account initialization in all Consilium Safety CS5000 Fire Panel versions allows remote attackers to gain high-privilege access. The panel provisions a non-root account with high-level permissions and leaves that insecure default enabled unless it is changed over SSH. Exploitation requires network reachability; the vendor states that normal installations lack direct Internet access and require onboard access to restricted areas.
