Account compromise via unescaped cancelUri reflection
Published Jul 24, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025
Reflected XSS in WWBN AVideo 14.4 and dev commit 8a8954ff allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript via cancelUri. The view/userLogin.php page validates cancelUri as a URL but inserts the raw request value into an anchor href without context-appropriate output encoding. A victim must visit the crafted page while logged out; script execution in the AVideo origin exposes the targeted account to compromise.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
