Code execution via malformed X1 or V10 files
Published Jun 17, 2025 · Updated Jun 18, 2025
Out-of-bounds write in Fuji Electric Smart Editor 1.0.1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code through a malicious X1 or V10 file. The X1 and V10 parsers insufficiently validate file-controlled data before writing past the end of an allocated data structure. Exploitation requires the target to visit a malicious page or open a malicious file and runs code in the context of the current process.
