Browser script execution via reflected profile parameter
Published May 12, 2025 · Updated Jul 14, 2025
Reflected XSS in Ricoh Web Image Monitor allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary scripts in a user's browser through a crafted URL. The unauthenticated root page reflects the profile query parameter into its HTML response without neutralizing a closing script tag. Execution requires a user to open the crafted URL, and the resulting script runs in the Web Image Monitor origin with access to browser-visible data and actions.
