Persistent firewall-rule tampering via mismatched identifiers
Published May 23, 2025 · Updated May 23, 2025
Improper input validation in Intellian C700 1.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to create firewall rules that cannot be deleted. The web panel can assign a database-entry ID that differs from the rule's JSON ID, then uses the JSON ID for deletion and fails to remove the entry. Access to the authenticated firewall-rule interface is required, and recovery of an attacker-created persistent rule requires a factory reset.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
