CVE-2025-41278

Code execution via out-of-bounds read

Published May 29, 2026 · Updated May 29, 2026

Out-of-bounds read in Waterfall WF-500 RX Host 7.10.0.0 R2601141040 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via the TX Host. The published advisory does not identify the affected RX Host component, the input that crosses its buffer boundary, or the operation that consumes it. Exploitation requires access to the TX Host plus an additional preparation condition that the advisory does not describe, and grants code execution on the RX Host.
