CVE-2025-41224

Authenticated SSH access via stale interface restrictions

Published Jul 8, 2025 · Updated Jul 8, 2025

Authorization bypass in Siemens RUGGEDCOM ROS before 5.10.0 allows remote authenticated users to retain SSH access on non-management interfaces. A saved management-to-non-management interface change fails to revoke interface access immediately, leaving prior SSH reachability active until reboot. Network access and valid credentials are required, and exposure exists only during the pre-reboot configuration state.
