CVE-2025-41084Network attack vector

Stored XSS via unsanitized company-logo SVG uploads

Published Jan 20, 2026 · Updated Jan 20, 2026

Stored XSS in Sesame HR allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript in other users' browsers through uploaded company-logo SVGs. The company-logo API stores SVG data supplied through the logo parameter at /api/v3/companies//logo without adequately sanitizing embedded scripts. Access to the upload operation and a user viewing the stored resource are required; script execution can expose or alter data available to that user's browser session.
