Stored script execution via unsanitized batch names
Published Feb 3, 2026 · Updated Feb 3, 2026
Stored XSS in Luna Imaging LUNA 7.5.5.6 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in other users' browsers. The Edit Batch Name function stores attacker-controlled batch names and later renders them without adequate sanitization or output encoding. Low-privileged batch-editing access and passive interaction by another user are required; exploitation exposes browser-accessible data and actions in that user's session.
