Unauthenticated database manipulation via buscame SQL injection
Published Oct 27, 2025 · Updated Oct 27, 2025
SQL injection in all versions of DRED Virtual Campus Platform allows remote attackers to read, create, update, or delete database data. The /catalogo_c/catalogo.php endpoint passes the untrusted buscame POST parameter into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the published impact is confined to data and service effects on the vulnerable platform.
