CVE-2025-41001Network attack vector

Session cookie theft via stored logout redirect XSS

Published Nov 10, 2025 · Updated Nov 10, 2025

Stored XSS in SOPlanning 1.53.02 allows remote authenticated users to steal session cookies through a crafted LOGOUT_REDIRECT value. The options.php handler accepts the LOGOUT_REDIRECT POST parameter without proper validation, causing attacker-supplied script content to persist and execute in an authenticated user's browser. A low-privileged user must submit the payload and an authenticated user must load the affected content; reported impact is limited to session-cookie disclosure and actions in that user's context.
