Session theft via unsanitized bug fields
Published Oct 2, 2025 · Updated Oct 2, 2025
Stored XSS in Creativeitem Ekushey Project Manager CRM 5.0 allows remote authenticated users to steal session cookies through bug reports. The project_bug/create endpoint stores the title and description POST fields without proper validation, allowing injected script to run when the report is viewed. A client-level account must submit the payload and an authenticated user must view the stored report; script execution is confined to that user's browser session.
