Out-of-bounds read in CryptX 0.002 through 0.064 allows context-dependent attackers to disclose memory or crash via crafted DER data. The bundled LibTomCrypt der_decode_utf8_string loop accepts a continuation byte as a leading byte, causing the decoded length to exceed the remaining input. Exploitation requires an application to parse attacker-supplied DER data; disclosure additionally requires re-encoding and returning the parsed data.
