Phishing via stored identity HTML on deletion
Published May 19, 2026 · Updated May 19, 2026
Stored HTML injection in Nozomi Networks Guardian and CMC before 26.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to render phishing content. The Credentials Manager stores HTML tags supplied in a malicious identity and renders them without neutralization when a victim opens the identity-deletion workflow. Administrative privileges are required to create the identity, and victim interaction exposes phishing or redirection content; validation and CSP prevent full XSS and direct disclosure.
