CVE-2025-40900Network attack vector

Authenticated data alteration via Angular template injection

Published May 19, 2026 · Updated May 19, 2026

Angular template injection in Nozomi Networks Guardian and CMC Reports before 26.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter application data. Reports input validation accepts an Angular template payload in a report definition or imported template and evaluates it in the viewer's browser; Nozomi has not identified the exact parameter or code locus. Exploitation requires report privileges or a victim who imports or views the crafted report; existing validation and Content Security Policy prevent full XSS and direct disclosure, but data alteration and service interruption remain possible.
