Authenticated arbitrary file write via archive traversal
Published Dec 18, 2025 · Updated Dec 18, 2025
Path traversal in Nozomi Networks Guardian and CMC before 25.5.0 allows remote authenticated users to write arbitrary files. The Import Arc data archive handler insufficiently validates archive entry paths before extracting uploaded content, permitting traversal outside the intended directory. Limited-privilege access to the web management interface and the ability to import a crafted Arc archive are required; successful exploitation can alter device configuration or interrupt service.
