CVE-2025-40893Network attack vector

Stored HTML injection via unvalidated asset attributes

Published Dec 18, 2025 · Updated Dec 18, 2025

Stored HTML injection in the Asset List in Nozomi Networks Guardian and CMC before 25.5.0 allows remote attackers to render HTML. The Asset List accepts asset attributes derived from crafted network packets without fully neutralizing HTML tags before storing and displaying them. Exploitation requires unauthenticated packet delivery and a user to view the affected asset; input validation and CSP block script execution and direct disclosure.
