CVE-2025-40885Network attack vector

Authenticated SQL injection via unvalidated polling parameter

Published Oct 7, 2025 · Updated Oct 7, 2025

SQL injection in Nozomi Networks Guardian and CMC before 25.2.0 allows remote authenticated users to read unauthorized database data. The Smart Polling function fails to validate an input parameter before using it in a database query, allowing arbitrary SELECT statements. Limited-privilege access to the web management interface is required, and the documented consequence is data disclosure rather than modification or interruption.
