Missing authentication in Siemens LOGO! 8 BM devices allows remote attackers on an adjacent network to make devices unreachable. The devices accept an unauthenticated IP-address change over UDP port 10006, but Siemens has not disclosed the missing validation or request format. All listed LOGO! and SIPLUS LOGO! base-module versions are affected, and exploitation disrupts network reachability by changing the device address.
