Classic buffer overflow in Siemens LOGO! 8 BM devices of all versions allows remote authenticated users to execute custom code over TCP. Several TCP-processing methods fail to validate packet structure before copying attacker-controlled data, allowing buffer overflows and control of the instruction counter. Reaching the flaw requires high-privilege LSC access protected by the device password; successful exploitation executes code on the controller.
