Out-of-bounds read in Siemens Solid Edge SE2024 and SE2025 allows attackers to execute code via a crafted PRT file. In SE2024 before V224.0 Update 14 and SE2025 before V225.0 Update 6, the PRT parser reads beyond an intended memory boundary; Siemens has not disclosed the responsible function. Exploitation requires a user to open the untrusted file and can crash the application or run code in the current process.
