Adjacent-network information disclosure via unauthenticated discovery responses
Published Sep 9, 2025 · Updated Sep 9, 2025
Information disclosure in Siemens RUGGEDCOM RST2428P all versions allows remote attackers to read device data over an adjacent network. Discovery services on UDP 34964 and a dynamic UDP port in 49152–65535 return device information to unauthenticated queries without enforcing an access check. The attacker must reach the device's local network; Siemens reports confidentiality impact only and does not identify the exposed fields.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
