CVE-2025-40772

Session theft via stored script injection

Published Oct 14, 2025 · Updated Oct 14, 2025

Stored XSS in Siemens SiPass integrated before 3.0 allows remote authenticated users to steal sessions through a crafted saved value. The server stores attacker-controlled input and renders it into an affected page without neutralizing executable browser content; Siemens does not identify the input field or page. A low-privileged user on an adjacent network must save the payload and another user must visit the page; browser execution exposes session data and supports impersonation.
