CVE-2025-4076Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated command execution via routepwd shell injection

Published Apr 29, 2025 · Updated Apr 29, 2025

Command injection in the LB-LINK BL-AC3600 through 1.0.22 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via routepwd. The easy_uci_set_option_string_0 function in /cgi-bin/lighttpd.cgi passes a setmanpwd routepwd value into a command context without neutralizing shell metacharacters. A valid administrative session token is required, and successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied shell commands on the router.
