CVE-2025-40753

SMTP credential disclosure via plaintext configuration export

Published Aug 12, 2025 · Updated Aug 13, 2025

Cleartext storage in Siemens SICAM Q100 2.60 through 2.61 and Q200 2.70 through 2.79 allows local users to read SMTP passwords. The configuration export writes the configured SMTP account password into the Configuration File as readable plain text instead of protecting the secret. An authenticated device session and configured SMTP account are required; disclosure permits use of the configured mail service for arbitrary purposes.
