CVE-2025-40745Network attack vector

Analytics interception via improper client-certificate validation

Published Apr 14, 2026 · Updated Apr 14, 2026

Improper certificate validation in Siemens Analytics Toolkit allows remote attackers to intercept application analytics traffic. Affected clients connect to the Analytics Service endpoint without properly validating its client certificate, allowing a substituted endpoint to be trusted. Exploitation requires an attacker to interpose on that connection; the published impact is limited to disclosure of analytics traffic.
