Code execution via PAR parser out-of-bounds read
Published Jul 8, 2025 · Updated Jul 8, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Siemens Solid Edge SE2025 before V225.0 Update 5 allows attackers to execute code through a crafted PAR file. The PAR file parser reads past the end of an allocated structure when processing malformed file data. Execution requires a local user to open the malicious file and runs in the context of the current process.
