Database manipulation via update.php parameter injection
Published Jun 30, 2025 · Updated Jun 30, 2025
SQL injection in Daily Expense Manager 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read, create, modify, and delete database content. The /update.php handler accepts pname, pprice, and id as SQL-bearing input without neutralizing special SQL elements before query execution. Low-privilege access to the network endpoint is required, and successful injection permits database reads, inserts, changes, and deletion.
