Reflected XSS via unneutralized search query
Published Jun 16, 2025 · Updated Jun 16, 2025
Reflected XSS in Nosto's /pages/search-results-page allows remote attackers to execute script code through the q GET parameter. The endpoint incorporates the q value into generated page content without neutralizing it for the browser's HTML context. Exploitation requires a victim to activate a crafted request; successful script execution is confined to the victim's browser context.
