Session compromise via reflected search query script
Published Dec 2, 2025 · Updated Dec 2, 2025
Reflected XSS in IDI Eikon Governalia before 1274 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through a crafted search URL. The /search endpoint reflects the q query parameter into its response without neutralizing script content, causing the victim's browser to execute the supplied code. Exploitation requires a victim to open the malicious URL; resulting script execution can expose session cookies or perform actions in the victim's session.
