Session-cookie theft via unvalidated JobCreatedBy input
Published Oct 23, 2025 · Updated Oct 23, 2025
Stored XSS in Status Tracker Ltd Energy CRM 2025 allows remote authenticated users to steal session cookies through a crafted job record. The /crm/create_job_submit.php handler accepts the JobCreatedBy POST parameter without proper validation, stores the supplied script, and later renders it in another user's browser. Low-privileged access is required to submit the payload, and a separate authenticated user must view the affected record before browser-side execution exposes that user's session cookie.
