Database compromise via injectable User parameter
Published May 6, 2025 · Updated May 6, 2025
SQL injection in TCMAN GIM v11 allows remote attackers to read, update, and delete all database information through a crafted User value. The ValidateUserAndGetData endpoint incorporates its unauthenticated User parameter into an SQL statement without adequately neutralizing SQL syntax. No account or user interaction is required, and successful requests expose the entire database to disclosure, modification, or deletion.
