Stack-based buffer overflow in Code Projects Theater Seat Booking System 1.0 allows local users to crash the application via cancellation input. The cancel function reads cancelcustomername through unbounded cin extraction into an 80-byte stack buffer, so overlong input overwrites adjacent memory. A low-privileged local user must select cancellation and enter the crafted name; the published proof of concept demonstrates a crash, while code execution remains unvalidated.
