CVE-2025-40603Network attack vector

Credential disclosure via sensitive log entries

Published Oct 31, 2025 · Updated Oct 31, 2025

Sensitive-data logging in SonicWall SMA 100 Series 10.2.2.2-92sv and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read partial credentials. The appliance logging path writes portions of user credentials into administrator-readable log files, but SonicWall has not identified the responsible event or field. Exploitation requires remote administrative access, user interaction, and conditions that cause affected credential fields to be logged; exposure is limited to partial credentials.
