Database access via unsanitized catname query
Published Apr 29, 2025 · Updated Apr 29, 2025
SQL injection in PHPGurukul Notice Board System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read or alter database data through the catname parameter. The category.php handler places the multipart catname value directly into a SQL query without sanitization, validation, or parameter binding. No login is required, and a crafted POST request can trigger a time-based database response and enable unauthorized database reads or changes.
