Default credentials in Siemens Energy Services all versions with G5DFR allow remote attackers to obtain administrator control via its web interface. The G5DFR web interface retains default usernames, passwords, and permission levels that grant administrator privileges instead of deployment-specific access. Exploitation requires a client configuration with remote access and permits control of the recorder and tampering with device outputs.
