OS command injection in Siemens SCALANCE LPE9403 with SINEMA Remote Connect Edge Client allows local users to execute root commands. The edge client fails to sanitize configuration parameters before they reach an operating-system command context. A non-privileged local account and installation of the optional edge client are required; successful exploitation grants root command execution.
