Kernel memory corruption via unlocked port-state race

Race condition in Linux nvme-fc 4.10 and later allows attackers to corrupt kernel memory through Fibre Channel port events. nvme_fc_create_association checks port_state and increments the remote-port active count without the lock needed to make those operations atomic with nvme_fc_unregister_remote. An unauthenticated peer on the same Fibre Channel fabric can repeatedly overlap teardown and reconnect processing, causing stale remote-port use, kernel memory access, or a host panic.
