Local application crash via unbounded filename input

Stack-based buffer overflow in Code Projects Personal Diary Management System 1.0 allows local users to crash the application with a long filename. In addrecord(), gets() writes the date-derived filename into a 15-byte stack buffer without a length bound, overwriting adjacent stack data. Local access, application login, and selection of New Record are required; the published proof of concept demonstrates an access-violation crash, while code execution is not demonstrated.
