Kernel crash via exposed VRAM sysfs attributes

Denial of service in affected Linux kernel releases allows local users to crash the system by accessing amdgpu VRAM sysfs attributes. The amdgpu_vram_attrs_is_visible callback returns the attributes' modes without checking whether the VRAM resource manager is in use. A local account and an AMD GPU with no VRAM are required; reading an exposed attribute can trigger a kernel crash, with no reported data disclosure or modification.
