Database access via unsanitized profile parameters
Published Apr 28, 2025 · Updated May 5, 2025
SQL injection in profile.php in Nipah Virus (NiV) Testing Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read or alter database data. The handler places the adminname and mobilenumber POST parameters directly into a MySQL query without validation or parameter binding. The proof of concept reports no authentication requirement and demonstrates a time-based blind payload, enabling indirect disclosure or unauthorized database operations.
