Unspecified impact via duplicate regulator cleanup
Published Nov 12, 2025 · Updated May 11, 2026
Resource-management error in the Linux PCI power-control driver in Linux 6.15 through 6.17.2 allows unspecified impact via unspecified vectors. In drivers/pci/pwrctrl/slot.c, a devm_add_action_or_reset() failure invokes the registered cleanup callback, but the probe error path then disables and frees the same regulator set again. The failure must occur while the PCI slot power-control driver is probing; the Linux CNA has not published an attacker-controlled trigger or a bounded consequence.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
