List corruption via unsynchronized PM QoS requests
Published Nov 12, 2025 · Updated May 11, 2026
Race condition in the Linux kernel 6.9 through 6.17.2 allows attackers to corrupt a UFS PM QoS list via unspecified vectors. The pm_qos_enabled flag does not serialize ufshcd_pm_qos_exit against update and sysfs paths, so both threads can delete the same request node after it is cleared. The race requires concurrent removal and update of the request and produces use-after-free list corruption; no broader consequence is published.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
