CVE-2025-4009Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Root command execution via unsanitized transfer parameters

Published May 28, 2025 · Updated Sep 12, 2025

Command injection in Evertz 3080IPX-10G and related webEASY products allows remote attackers to execute commands as root. The feature-transfer-import.php endpoint builds a shell command from the action, filename, and slot parameters without sanitizing them. Exploitation requires direct network access to the device, but a companion login flaw accepts attacker-supplied administrator data without authentication.
