CVE-2025-4008Known exploitationPublic exploit

Root command execution via unsanitized eval

Published May 21, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Command injection in smartbedded GmbH Meteobridge 6.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute root commands via a crafted request. The template.cgi shell script parses the QUERY_STRING and passes unsanitized attacker-controlled input to eval. Its public /public/template.cgi copy lacks uhttpd authentication, so remote attackers able to reach the web interface can take full control of the device.
