CVE-2025-4004Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated database access via password-recovery query injection

Published Apr 28, 2025 · Updated May 2, 2025

SQL injection in PHPGurukul COVID19 Testing Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to access or alter database data without authentication. The password-recovery.php handler places attacker-controlled username and contactno POST values directly into SQL queries without validation or parameter binding. The public proof of concept demonstrates boolean-, error-, and time-based injection through contactno; database permissions bound the obtainable data and operations.
