Local service interrupt via inapplicable VF sysfs attributes

A denial-of-service flaw in Linux kernel 6.16 through 6.16.9 allows local users to trigger a kernel fault through a Xe VF sysfs read. xe_device_sysfs_init exposes auto_link_downgrade_capable to virtual functions even though its show path reads the inaccessible BMG_PCIE_CAP register. Exploitation requires local access to a guest using an affected Intel Xe virtual function, and the resulting fault interrupts that guest without reported data disclosure or modification.
