Uncontrolled resource consumption in SCIP 9.2.0 and 9.2.1 allows local users to interrupt service through file descriptor exhaustion. The genRandomLOPInstance main function opens the requested output file with fopen but returns without explicitly calling fclose. Low-privileged local execution of the example is required, and the descriptor remains open only until process termination, bounding the consequence to availability.
