Kernel memory corruption via oversized WID string

Out-of-bounds write in the Linux wilc1000 driver allows physically proximate attackers to corrupt kernel memory via crafted Wi-Fi frames. wilc_wlan_parse_response_frame() trusts a firmware-supplied 16-bit WID string length and copies as many as 65,537 bytes into a roughly 512-byte configuration buffer without checking the element's recorded limit. Exploitation requires a system using WILC1000 wireless hardware within radio range, and the overflow can disclose memory, corrupt kernel objects, or crash the system.
